Hot Hunt: Our Blog is Now a Store!

Yup, that’s right! We just had too many goodies to put on our daily salvage blog, we decided to put them all in one store. Come find the curious curiosities and best antiques all under one roof at 1140 Queen Street West.

We Heart “50/50”

In true rotating retail style, we have designed our first ever Drake General Store concept space! Just in time to make a holiday cameo, we’ve split the room in half: 50/50 doesn’t make you choose one shop over another; it reflects the perfect balance between two content and design ideas. 

Located at 1140 Queen Street West beside our first Drake General Store, 50/50 will play fleeting host to two of our great loves: apparel and salvaged furniture + antiques. Our modern pioneer aesthetic can be found peppered throughout the space: echoed in the industrial furniture, mounted antlers painted bright colours, vintage wall maps as well as bespoke antique jewelry.

The Hot Hunt furniture artefacts stand against a black chalkboard wall, which is in direct opposition to our apparel that hangs on brass fixtures mounted on a pure white backdrop.

Our locally made Shared F/W 2011 collection will be the central focus, but the white wall also displays apparel brands like Pendleton, Life After Denim, BLKSMTH, West is Dead, Cheap Monday, As If, Granted + more. 

Don’t blink, we wouldn’t want you to miss our first retail super nova.
