Drake General Store Style Icon: Leigh Lezark
Leigh Lezark is either front row at every noteworthy show during Fashion Week, or behind the scenes spinning the music for it. Leigh hit the radar as one-third of DJ collective The Misshapes, who have been playing new wave, electro + party tunes shows in New York since 2003. She was only 17 at the time + had to lie about her age to get into clubs. She seems to have had no problem - we couldn’t turn down this face either.

Leigh’s edgy + icy cool look, with her strong cheek bones, fair skin + raven sharp hair (which she dyes herself) exudes an air of mystery about her. It’s hard to look away, her look is fierce + her stare is magnetizing. We’re not the only ones interested, street style photographers love her. She always wears high heels + is almost always in black, sometimes black + white and sometimes black + a pop of one monochrome colour. She does not shy away from risky fashion, rocking sequins, lace, leather + feathers. Sometimes together, but always owning it + looking absolutely striking.

The fashion industry loves Leigh, for more than the beats for their shows. She’s played muse to + walked the runway for designers including House of Holland, Karl Lagerfeld + Matthew Williamson, appeared in advertising campaigns for Gap + Robert Cavalli for H&M, and graced the cover of Vanity Fair, Nylon, New York Magazine + Vogue (American, French, Australian + Turkish). Leigh is a Brand Ambassador for Chanel, which suits her just fine between her heavily monochromatic classic yet modern look. Her most treasured possession is a pair of Chanel gun heels, gifted to her by none other than Karl himself. We can’t think of a better piece to match Leigh’s style -  strong, sleek + on target.
