Decor Mondays: Moon Inspiration

Even though it’s not made of cheese, we’re still big fans of our Moon. These home decor accents add a touch of celestial elegance to your space.

It’s hard not to play favourites, but we’re obsessed with our 2013 moon phase poster- it even shimmers!

We Heart Instruments!

Everyone knows that music tames the savage beast, but did you know it also adds design personality to your space? Just taking a look at some of these stunning rooms really make us feel less dorky about playing violin (while wearing headgear) in middle school. Bring in some musical personality to your home, just get creative and people will take note.

Talk about goosebump-inducing! This video shows a breathtaking time lapse sequence of photographs taken from the International Space Station from August 2011 - October 2011. Our favourite part is the electric neon aurora borealis dancing + watching the lightning storms! 

This week’s science image is courtesy from our friends at NASA. It depicts meteors from the Draconids meteor shower that peaked earlier this month. The above composite images captured numerous meteor streaks over 90 minutes above the Celtic ruins of Capote in Badajoz province, Spain.

2011 Nobel Prize in Physics Awarded Today

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2011 was awarded “for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae” with one half to Saul Perlmutter and the other half jointly to Brian P. Schmidt and Adam G. Riess.
